Ii think it's called an equilateral triangle, three points connected with ruled lines, it's quite an experience just putting this together and watching it grow. Nice place to stop too.
In 1993 this Toyota was parked on the street outside our apartment, I had friends who had one, or had had one. I love this drawing.
Mawuli was from Uganda, he had married a friend from Victoria, they were staying with us.
It was amazing to me to watch his body shape in our small apartment in Bronte.
Quite a few years back, Mark and Kathy had this small pup and wanted some drawings of it
A few of this island were drawn for the wedding invitation of a friend. I didn't think much of this drawing until I saw it on the invitation. It may have been the first sketch.

I was waiting for my car to be serviced. This is not it. There was a light inside the cabin of the car where the door is open. This drawing just happened, with a loose cross hatching of pen line, starting very lightly, gradually builing in intensity allowing the lights above to shine out in the paint work.
I find it difficult to get the depth of darkness with pen and ink that is in the tree trunks, and I love the sense of sunlight and delicate detail of the house so close behind them.
Love the feeling of strong sunlight in this sketch. At least that's what i was drawing. At 8.00 am on a sunny morning the blaze of sun on the water almost eliminates the sea visible from the Bogie Holes window view.
